Hello world,
I been meaning to post some pictures from I when I visited Chile last year. It was the first time I've been to South America and I didn't know what to expect to be honest. I must say that I enjoyed every moment of my vacation, though not everything was perfect.
This is the most real I can get, I love contrasts: I love and I hate. So here goes the list that summarizes my vacation:
I loved that I didn't spend over $1000 on my boarding pass
I hated that I had a 6 hour layover in Miami
I loved that I got to sleep the entire flight
I hate when there's a stranger sitting next to me, because then I feel weirded out about asking this person to move because I need to go to the bathroom.
I loved that they didn't ask me too many questions at customs
I hated that I had to declare everything I was carrying because I was told that otherwise I'll have to pay a fee for not being so transparent upfront.
I loved that everyone in Chile uses Uber.
I hated that there's a rivalry between Uber and taxi drivers, as they get really violent about the competition.
I loved that the sky was always clear.
I hated how hot it was all the time.
I loved that the sun went down at around 8 pm.
I hated how much the sun burned.
I loved that everyone was so very nice and chatty.
I hated that I could barely understand their accent.
I loved that I could walk anywhere.
I hated that everything felt like it was too far away.
I loved that there was sushi everywhere.
I hated that it wasn't the tastiest.
I loved that this place was new.
I hated how unfamiliar mostly everything was.
