Winter Favorites

I love winter, I do, but it can really complicate things for me. My skin becomes very fragile, it feels very dry and sometimes the cold burns your entire face. A lot of things can go wrong with this kinda weather. Usually I can handle it very easily because in Guatemala the weather, it might be unpredictable but 57 °F is as low as it goes in the city. First day I came to NY it was 28 °F, so big difference.. I didn't know what to do about it because I'm not use to this kinda cold. Here's a list of things that I have loved this winter.

I don't usually buy chapstick, I don't like the texture in my lips but I hated how dry they were becoming so I ended up buying this lip balm. Rosebud salve helped my lips and even my elbows. I got mine at Sephora but I think you can get it just about anywhere.

My face was a little tricky, I usually apply L'Bel Hydra Calme Lotion SPF 15 after washing my face but a few days after I got here my skin started to feel like burning. I knew that I had to change my routine because my skin was damage from the cold and I ended up buying Burt's Bees Radiance Day Cream. I really recommend it to anyone having the same problem as I did, it worked out perfectly.

Now for cleaning my face I've been using Burt's Bees Orange Essence Facial Cleanser, it really soothes out your skin, it feels very hydrated and it smells amazing. Scent is a very important thing for me, there's nothing I love more than smelling amazing. I feel that with the wind and the humidity, perfume doesn't really stick to my clothes anymore. The scents fade away really fast and I hate it. I ended up finding the solution in carrying with me solid perfume. This one in particular is my favorite because not only does it smell good but it's incredibly cute. I found this at Urban Outfitters, it's a perfume bar by Tony Moly. You can also find other beauty products by this Korean brand on Amazon or Ebay.

This was a gift from my best friend, she went to Paris a month ago and got this some sorta souvenir for me. It pictures Marie Antoinette and it has mints inside, it's perfect.

Waiting for the subway can get really boring, I picked up this book "It" by Alexa Chung, my all time favorite fashion icon. It's very entertaining, it's a quick read, interesting and inspiring.

In need for a cute and huge purse for all the stuff that I carry around all day, I got this at Topshop. It's all leather, very spacious and chic looking.

I needed a wallet that wouldn't take away all the space from my bag so I got this cutie at Asos, it's a wallet from Lazy Oaf. Also my case I got from Amazon.
