Hello friends, I haven't done one of these in so long that I even had a hard time selecting which items to share but I decided to really choose them based on this soon to be 'last month' (October).
I do want to state that I don't like encouraging people into filling their lives with things, I do however believe that it is good to find (share) stuff that make your life easier. Items that could help you accomplish something, just make sure that you're smart about your decisions.  Defining Wants/Needs is super important, specially if you have a goal in your mind that requires you to save money (e.g. a trip or education).

So based on a random order, here we go.
Little Black Book - as the title states it is a toolkit for working women by Otegha Uwagba. It is a step by step guide for women who are looking to boost their careers. I have had many jobs for a really long time already and I still found it very enlightening and made me feel powerful as I started to put some things into practice.  It will teach you a variety of things, from overcoming creative block to negotiating a pay raise.

Leica Sofort - because I wanted both an instant camera and a Leica this was the cheapest smartest option.  I honestly didn't buy this myself, my boyfriend got it for me, but I wouldn't have regretted it if I did. I am in a long distance relationship right now and I wanted to have as many memories in sight that I could that would make me feel like my boyfriend continues to be part of my life in a physical way.  Having a bunch of pictures of the two of us hanging out, having new experiences, going to new places definitely helped.  Plus this camera is very special, it has a setting in which you can do double exposures which helps boost out your creative side.  The lens are also better than the regular Fuji and it comes with a rechargeable battery, I have zero complains.

the POREfessional - this is a face primer that will give your face a natural healthy look.  I love it mostly because I've noticed that people in the Netherlands do not wear tons of makeup (if any at all). I feel very comfortable that I can skip a makeup routine, just put on some moisturizer, a little primer, mascara and I'm good to go.  I definitely do not miss the condescending girl who would ask "are you feeling alright?" when you're apparently too confident to show your face without the socially acceptable mask we tend to put on every morning.

Jo Malone - so my personal favorite scent is Black Cedarwood and Juniper, I will do my best to describe it: it is like that smell you feel when it's been raining in the woods.  It is humid, bitter but sweet..? If that makes any sense and sounds good, then this is for you.  And if not, they also have plenty of other scents that I find very interesting.  For example if you're into more floral/sweet colognes, then the Peony and Blush Suede will be more appealing to you.  For me, if the smell makes me feel nostalgic then take my money!

the Watt's up - this highlighter is the only one that I like, maybe that sounds too harsh but I feel that I can understand if you like lightning up your face. Perhaps, have a healthy glow that will make you look more awake and healthy or whatever.  But rest assure that if it is too much, then the purpose is gone (unless your purpose is looking like the sun), it's not flattering guys. Going back to it, this product is creamy but it doesn't make your foundation cakey, it is long lasting and very very natural looking! You can also use some for underneath your eyebrows or in the corner of your eyes to look more awake, it will make your eyes look wider and whiter.

Sooo that is it for this month! We will see if I have anything to say about the next one, you're welcome to let me know if you like this kind of posts.  I am also looking into doing more book recommendations because I will be honest, all I've been doing is reading and I have lots of books to share/discuss!!
